2. What does the MPED Organizing Committee do?
The MPED Organizing Committee is dedicated to hosting a fair competition adjudicated by a panel of multi-national experts and encouraging young student artists to enter and showcase their talents. MPED INT’L ART&DESIGN AWARDS recognizes and celebrates excellence and originality from young visual artists around the world. We seek artistic passion, inquisitiveness, and perseverance when selecting the artworks and provide a platform to exhibit them to a global audience.
3. Do entrants have to submit works that meet a specific theme?
Unless explicitly specified, entrants are free to explore any theme or subject matter.
4. Who can participate in MPED Int’l A&D Awards?
Any student artist (Grades 4 - 12) in the world can participate in the MPED INT’L ART&DESIGN AWARDS competition. In accordance with the public education system in the Republic of Korea, there are three divisions: Elementary School (ES: Grades 4 - 6), Middle School (MS: Grades 7 - 9), and High School (HS: Grades 10 - 12).
5. How do I submit an artwork to MPED?
Please refer to the Registration Form and Official Rulebook for submission requirements and specific file formats (https://www.emdash.one/enter-mped).
6. What are the benefits for the winners?
For ICOSA awardees (TOP 3): Ranking announcement, customized feedback for the artwork, custom-made canvas frame (A2 size), and Certificate of Excellence
For OCTA awardees (TOP 4 - 12): Ranking announcement, one-line feedback for the artwork, custom-made fabric poster (A2 size), and Certificate of Merit
For TETRA awardees (TOP 13 - 28): No ranking, “Nice” button, custom-made mug, and Certificate of Advantage
For CUBE awardees (TOP 29 - 40): No ranking, “Noted” button, custom-made mug, and Certificate of Significance
7. Can I submit more than one artwork per each category?
